My observation is that a literary bent in education is very helpful. Nuance in quite absent in my own observations, as that one audience comment suggests. In that sense your comment, ‘maybe statistics should never been invented’. Maybe it would be beneficial to ask students themselves what they think would improve their learning. They do have opinions about it.
