Vianey Leos Barajas and I are organizing StanBio Connect 2025 conference: https://stanbio.org
StanBio is a free, one-day online conference that will take place on Friday, 30 May 2025 from 9 am to 4 pm ET. We are interested in broad applictions of Stan in biomedicine including drug discovery and development, bioinformatics, medical devices, health economics, real-world evidence, and decision-making under uncertainty. If you are developing Stan models and want to show off your work, we hope you would consider submitting an abstract by 15 April. We are planning for keynotes to be about 45 minutes and regular talks to be about 20 minutes long.
Stay tuned for the program to be released in a month or so.
We are also looking for sponsors, with the money going directly to Stan/NumFocus to help pay for the conference and to support the development of Stan. If your organization is using Stan, please consider supporting the project by sending a note to eric dot novik at nyu dot edu.
